 Job Responsibilities: What you will do

Location: 2002 W Wahalla Ln, Phoenix, AZ 85027

Pay Range: Starting at $19 an hour 

Schedule: Monday- Friday 8am to 5pm OR 6am to 5pm Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday 

Process company citations, administer the Transportation Workplace Drug and Alcohol Testing programs, and maintain reporting to ensure company compliance, continuous improvement in CSA basic scores, and data accuracy. Proactively Identify and manage areas for CSA improvement.

  • Research all citations to ensure that points and costs are allocated to the correct driver, department, terminal, etc.
  • Ensure all driver citations are processed timely and paid accurately in accordance with company policy.
  • Audit expense reports, and Citations P-Card Transactions in accordance with department and company requirements, and accurately document all transactions.
  • Review and enter all pet and rider requests, assuring the appropriate documentation has been completed and entered in as400.
  • Assist as a backup a hazmat related questions via email and phone calls.
  • Prepare and distribute reports identifying trends and high risk areas for citations/inspections and communicate with relevant safety leadership to minimize associated violations and costs.
  • Assist with verifying all OOS inspections are completed and faxed back to the states.
  • Index relevant documentation in document storage system.
  • Assist in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Ensure completion and regulatory compliance of all required drug testing.
  • Work with, and provide instruction and guidance to, drivers, MROs, TPAs, and/or other relevant Knight/Swift and partner employees on any issues related to drug testing/retesting, testing program, or required documentation.
  • Participate and provide guidance in employee investigations related to drug/alcohol allegations and reasonable suspicion observations. Assist in investigation of circumstances, employee interviews, and determining whether or not drug testing would be necessary or appropriate.
  • Prepare and maintain records/reports, and ensure proper DOT file retention. Communicate DOT Drug & Alcohol Test records to TPA reporting agencies and states in a prompt, accurate manner.
  • Ensure Transportation Workplace Drug and Alcohol Testing program requirements and expectations are understood by all individuals involved in the processes, and provide training and guidance to other individuals in the organization as needed.
  • Review termination PAFs submitted by leadership to ensure that drug/alcohol related terminations are processed and coded accurately.
  • Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organizations objectives.

Qualifications: What you need to bring

  • Demonstrated knowledge of State requirements on citation processing, payments and knowledge of each states' permit requirements required.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to multi-task and possess strong organizational skills.
  • Must be able to analyze data with high degree of accuracy.
